JAPAN FLIX NEWSLETTER VOL.5
|
In this month's newsletter:
— What's New?
— TOP 3
— Featured Titles
— Awesomeness
It was clear after speaking with our fans that we needed to make our films available through other outlets in addition to iTunes. So, in May, we finalized an agreement to have our titles distributed through the Playstation Store and Zune Marketplace.
We’re really excited that our first titles available through Playstation and Zune will be our TOP 3: Shisei: The Tattooer, Three String Samurai, and Perfect Education: 40 Days of Love.
Last month we also celebrated a couple new releases with Seifuku Survivor Girl and Seifuku Survivor Girl 2. Two films that fans of the cult/exploitation genre are sure to love.
And in the last week of May we awarded our third and final iTunes gift card. Our ReTweet contest we ran throughout the month took us from 134 Followers to over 250 in a little over a month. We really want to thank everyone who took part in the contest for helping us to grow Japan Flix. Let’s keep it going!

Awesomeness
Japan Flix was created not only with the idea of releasing the best never-before-seen Japanese films but also with the idea of promoting Japanese cinema, as a whole. At Japan Flix, we LOVE Japanese cinema and we know there are millions of you, like us, who wish it were easier to find, to rent, and to buy. That is why...
We will begin to stream movies directly from the Japan Flix website!
Japan Flix is about community, a community of people who love Japan, Japanese culture, and of course Japanese cinema. Streaming movies ourselves allows us to reinforce that idea.
The site will allow members to rent films for 1 day or 5 days. We will stream films at the highest quality available that your internet connection and your screen allow. That includes 1080p for full HD movies like Shisei or Teke Teke. Membership is free and it only takes a few seconds to join.
Our streaming site will allow us more freedom and flexibility than we've had with other outlets. Of course some of our content will still be available through iTunes, Playstation, and Zune. But you'll find all of our films and more at JapanFlix.com. |
