Q. How good is the video quality?

Posted on by hidden

A. The video quality you experience depends on the quality that the film was shot at, the speed of your internet connection, and the resolution of your monitor.

For films marked “HD,” the films have been shot at full 1080p resolution. “SD” films are in 480p.

To stream the full 1080p resolution, your internet connection must be able to download the video faster than the video is played. This means your connection must be able to download files at a rate of 375 kilobytes per second or 2.9 megabits per second.

But don’t worry if your internet connection can’t handle those speeds. Our video player will fall back to 720p and 480p depending on your connection.

We highly recommend an internet connection that can download at least 185 kilobytes per second or 1.5 megabits per second.
